Search engines are not reading the alt text of images

1 0 1

Hello there,
The images on my page do not use Alt text, for example, I want this type of page Alt text. Every page and image on my website contains some SEO. They are not being tagged by my SEO. Even though I have checked and modified the web pages over and over again, the reason remains a mystery. Can this be fixed? Does my alt text need to be hardcoded? What is the process for doing it in JSON in that case?

See this for info on doing it via JSON:

I don't know what you mean by "they are not being tagged by my SEO." Do you mean Google is not reading the alt text of images? How are you determining that?

Hello @christopherso23,

Gina here from flareAI - your Fully Automated Free Sales Machine. Hope you are doing good! I am happy to share some suggestions for your query.

Please consider liking and accepting the solution if it helps.

Alt text is important for search engines to better understand a page and provide people with the best possible results when they are searching online.

It is possible that the alt text of images on your Shopify store is not being read by search engines. Alt text, also known as "alt tags" or "alt descriptions," is used to describe the contents of an image to search engines and assistive technologies.

If the alt text is not properly implemented, it may not be read by search engines, which can negatively impact the visibility of your store in search results.

There are several reasons why this might happen, including:

> Alt text is missing or not included in the image tag
> Incorrectly formatted alt text
> Same alt text for all images
> Using non-descriptive text

To ensure that your images are properly indexed by search engines, you should ensure that all images on your site have unique, descriptive alt text that accurately describes the contents of the image. You can also use Google Search Console to check if your images are being indexed by Google and troubleshoot any issues.

Your ongoing SEO efforts can only work if the page is indexed by Google. flareAI automates the update submissions to all the major search engines. Let flareAI help you to grow your revenue on the world's best free sales channels.
