SEO benefits from Images hosted on Shopify CDN

I have some infographics which I want to upload to my site and share with other sites for the SEO link juice that comes from backlinks.  Since all images on Shopify go through the CDN and have a base URL of cdn.shopify, by linking back to said image, is it safe to assume I wouldn't get any of the SEO benefits?

Is there any way to host an image or file on our site that does get the site URL so we can share the image link and benefit from it?
