SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi, we are wanting to set up our FB Store through our shopify website though once we connect we are getting errors on each product. We sell downloadable jpeg files, would anyone know if FB do not allow downloadable items for sale?? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Lisa here from the Social Care Team at Shopify.
Products that are sold via the Facebook Sales Channel must be set to require shipping. Which means digital/downloadable products are not supported by Facebook. You were right in suspecting this!
After being reviewed by Facebook, any other issues with the product will also be outlined in the Facebook 'Shop' tab, on the right-hand side of the disapproved list. Besides from being a digital product, other common eligibility errors include:

I hope this helps to explain some of the errors you're receiving while attempting to publish to Facebook. For the digital products that you can't list through the Facebook Sales Channel, as a workaround, you can post as a regular post via Facebook, and link directly to your product page. Alternatively, use permalinks to preload the cart for customers so they can check out immediately with the advertised product.

Hi Lisa, thanks so much. Such a shame about FB not allowing digital downloads. With regard to the permalinks to preload the cart, I did try that referring to the You Tube video link you sent but when I press enter a white screen comes up saying... Will be opening soon. Enter store using password:
Am I doing something wrong?

Oh Sorry Lisa, I meant when I carry out the actions they say to do and press enter I get the password prompt. It doesn't take me to the check out for that product. Maybe there is something not set up right in our website??
