I wanted to withdraw the salaries that. I earned for working for a bot.then I was told by customer service agent I needed to complete 10 task orders before my account can be activated and be able to withdraw the money I earned to my bank account.gave me 10 orders to submit. the total amount for the orders was R16820.00 of which I will earn 13300 as Commission.i had some funds over 2000 which paid for some orders .then after 4 orders it said my balance was insufficient and I had recharge meaning pay the remaining balance for the orders before my account could be activated.and I paid two payments of R500 and after that was the same story but R800.NOW I MUST PAY STILL FOR ONE LAST ORDER R5000.have anyone had same experience and is this legit or not.i was told once I pay for the order my account will be activated and I could withdraw my commission and salery to my bank account within 30min.i have not paid the R5000 yet.
Hi @77924018
Reputable platforms don’t require you to pay large amounts upfront to see earnings. Real jobs pay you and they don’t force you to “recharge” your account. Stop sending money. Please do if you can report the platform, or the bot in order to avoid others being duped. Do your own due diligence.
Hello @77924018 ,
I'm so sorry to tell you this but you have been scammed. Do not pay anything else to these people. Report this fraud immediately at this link: Fraud - Shopify.
Tell Shopify everything that just happened and submit ALL EVIDENCE (screenshots, chat logs, payments, etc).
You should also contact your bank right away and tell them what happened. You may be able to get some or all of your money back.
Best of luck!
Hello there @77924018 I wanted to check in on the current situation and I really do hope you didn’t pay the R5000. Always keep in mind that as much as the e-commerce space is empowering, there are still some dangerous shadows that move around to prey on people so you always have to be extra careful.
