We are experiencing significant discrepancies between the data reported by Meta and our Shopify store. We are seeking an expert to diagnose and fix these issues. Despite having various experts audit our accounts over the past few weeks and confirming that our pixels are connected correctly, we are still unable to resolve the discrepancies between Shopify and Meta. The issue involves inconsistencies in the number of sessions and conversions reported by Meta and Shopify. Specifically; in the last 7 days Meta is reporting 3460 link clicks to our website from our paid ads. In the same time period Shopify is reporting zero sessions from Facebook!

If we compare this to the same 7 days last year, Shopify reports 7334 sessions.

It appears that Meta and Shopify are not fully communicating, even though some data is being shared. Our Facebook ads are no longer performing as expected, and we believe this issue is connected.

We are looking for an expert to:
-Diagnose and resolve data discrepancies between Meta and Shopify.
-Ensure accurate tracking of sessions and conversions.
Verify and optimize pixel implementation on Shopify.
-Align data reporting between Meta and Shopify for consistency.

Requirements:
-Extensive experience with both Meta (Facebook) and Shopify.
-Strong understanding of eCommerce tracking and attribution.

Is any other tracking script there? Ensure there are no conflicts with other JavaScript or tracking scripts that could affect pixel tracking.

channel app is not optimized for accurate tracking because of having no subdomain tracking scope which bypasses all kinds of ad blockers and ios 14 updates.

1. Are you using the Pixel Helper Chrome Extension to check if the pixel is implemented correctly on your Shopify store? The Pixel Helper Extension might help you identify where the issue is arising when it comes to pixel firing. Next, check if your Facebook and Instagram sales channel app is properly integrated with your Shopify store. This is a small issue, but it can generate some errors. 

2. Ensure that your ads are set up correctly with proper tracking settings. Verify that the destination URLs are correct and consistent across all ads. 

3. Ensure that UTM parameters are properly set up in your Facebook ad URLs, such as - https://www.yourstore.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=ad&utm_campaign=your_campaign.
