We are experiencing significant discrepancies between the data reported by Meta and our Shopify store. We are seeking an expert to diagnose and fix these issues. Despite having various experts audit our accounts over the past few weeks and confirming that our pixels are connected correctly, we are still unable to resolve the discrepancies between Shopify and Meta. The issue involves inconsistencies in the number of sessions and conversions reported by Meta and Shopify. Specifically; in the last 7 days Meta is reporting 3460 link clicks to our website from our paid ads. In the same time period Shopify is reporting zero sessions from Facebook!
If we compare this to the same 7 days last year, Shopify reports 7334 sessions.
It appears that Meta and Shopify are not fully communicating, even though some data is being shared. Our Facebook ads are no longer performing as expected, and we believe this issue is connected.
