Shopify Business Manager is waiting for permission to manage my page... but I can't give it permissi

Hi, 

About a month ago I created/tried to link Shopify Business Manager to my business' facebook page.  The approval is apparently "pending", but I have not got any notifications to approve it and can't for the life of my find out how to approve it.  I tried to withdraw the request and re-issue it but the only way to do that is to change my instagram business profile to personal and then toggle it back, losing all my data.  I have left a bazillion tickets/bug notes with FB (after talking to shopify support) and it's like shouting in to the void. SO....

1) anyone had this problem before and fixed it, and if so how?

2) is there a problem you can think of with me using my personal ad account to run my FB ads?  Pixel is connected.

3) anyone know how to actually get some support from FB on this?

Hi,

yes- two solutions.  First off, I created a new business manager and use that, not the Shopify manager. 

However I later discovered that my cofounder, who set up the Facebook page had some higher level of admin permission than me and DID have a permission request in her queue but hadn’t realised what it was! 

so turned out it was good old human error, but we created a workaround anyway
