Shopify emails will not let me upload images

I have been trying to upload images to email drafts I have in Shopify, however every time I try to upload the images it says "error" or "failed to upload." I have tried importing png and jpeg and nothing seems to work.

having the same problem. seems to be images that have been edited in photoshop for me...  im not quite sure...
