Shopify to facebook link conflicts

Hi, please be gentle as relative newbie and hope this is the correct discussion group. We have launched our online business and have some issues linking to facebook business manager via shopify.

Our facebook is managed through my partners facebook account and they are using business manager to manage our ads. When they login into our Shopify using their login the shopify to facebook connection they see and is fine.

When I log into shopify I get message no linked to facebook - however the shop is linked in my partners view. When I then connect my own facebook account and to the facebook page for our store for which I am an admin I can connect but we get business manager conflicts.

Appreciate if someone can advise if this is correct behaviour or we need to change a setting.
