SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could provide any assistance.
I opened my Shopify store a couple of weeks ago, and added the Google Shopping app to my store, which automatically created a Google Merchant Center account and a Google Ads account for me.
It took a while, but eventually all of my products were marked as "approved" in the app dashboard, so I went over to our Google ads account and created a manual shopping ad campaign.
Now, I'm no stranger to Google ads, I've used them quite extensively in my professional life, but for some reason, the ads I've been running since the 17th of January are getting no impressions. I've searched for our product titles on google myself, and have asked friends and family to do so too, and our ads are just not displaying.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Is it just the case that it takes quite a while for shopping ads to display for new accounts? There's nothing to report in our Google Merchant Center diagnostics (although we're currently not viable for Enhanced Free Listings).
Really drawing a blank here.
As you indicated that Google Merchant Center Diagnostics panel has no errors.
Go to Google Ads > click on your shopping campaign > products > check that they are all eligable.
Try increasing your budget.
Try increasing your bid
Try using manual CPC
When making changes give it a few days.
