Should I give away my 50-page home decor ebook as a lead magnet?

I have a question regarding a lead magnet in the form of an ebook that I've created around my niche of home decor. It was going to be just a small ebook to use to collect emails from my welcome pop up and it ended up that the ebook turned out to be close to 50 pages by the time I was done. Now I'm hearing from some people that they believe that it's just too much to give away as a lead magnet and that they believe I should be selling it. These are just friends and family members of course. It is a full color PDF, 50 pages, in the home decor niche. It covers so many different subjects for homeowners on how to design your home and I'm curious if anybody has any ideas on how I should tackle this now ?

The first idea I had was to only give away a portion of the ebook say maybe one chapter (about 8 or 10 pages worth) And then either option A. Give away the rest of the e-book when a client purchases more than $100 worth of product off my store. Or B. Sell the rest of the ebook on my store for a flat price, say $14.99. I should also say that I am also offering a 15% discount when people sign up for emails. And like I said I'm being told that I'm giving away too much. So I just wanted to see if anybody had any ideas on how I can work this? I mean my original thought still is to just give away the entire ebook and because it's so packed full of information and fun stuff that I will get my reward by people passing around the ebook and then people coming to my store to buy home decor products. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you

I'd go with your original idea. Your business is about selling home decor, so selling an ebook sounds like a distraction. If it's that high-quality, then people will want to share it, so make sure it clearly shows your branding.

Thank you so much for your reply, I actually had somebody on another platform suggest a third option that I could use which is to take the ebook and break it up into eight different sections and make it a kind of series so to speak. And then when somebody first signs up they would get series 1, and then they would get series 2 -8 either once a day for the next 7 days or even once a week for the following seven weeks which would keep me in front of them every single week for 2 months. That there sounded like the best option to me apart from just giving the entire thing away at one time. My first two options I'm definitely not going to do So now it's down to just giving all 50 pages away at once or do a section a week which I can order me all the emails so it's not like it's going to be too much extra work. What are your thoughts on this?
