SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
I have had my shop opened for 8 weeks now, one eight pound sale. offered discount codes etc.
Have 11 people signed up for my newsletter - sent those out with discounts, and new products etc.
I have spend over 200 on google ads, 100 on Facebook advertising, and 200 on a developer to improve my site .
so 500 in 8 weeks and nothing to show for it .

I notice that your store has an unclear layout, your store menu is too dense, and there are no highlights in the UX/UI interface design, making customers confused about your products. Look up and follow best practices and go from there.
Honestly could see this work. The bare minimum solid layout that offers better user experience combined with some simple ads is a good start. Keep at it.
