Hello guys,
I know all Shopify stores automatically generate a sitemap.xml file that contains link to all my products, images, pages ecc.
In my store I'm using a third level domain (Example --> en.namedomain.com) to show a different website's language (using Langify to do that). And I was wondering if I need to submit and verify subdomain also with Google.
If so, how does it work?
Thanks in advance.
In terms of that content getting indexed, there's two things I'd recommend doing:
1. Ensure that you're internally linking to the international subdomains from your primary domain. That will allow Google paths to crawl and index the content.
2. It's a best practice to submit the different subdomains to Google Search Console and set up subdomain tracking in Google Analytics. You'll be able segment any issues associated with individual properties.
Let me know if you have any other questions on international SEO!
