Social media target and conversion rate (how much I can promise to my client).

Hi, 

My client has 5 months online store with Cannabidiol (CBD)-one of the most prevalent chemical compounds in the cannabis plant. 

He has 300 likes on FB and 0% conversion rate.

He asked me how many followers I will get for him on FB, Instagram and Twitter, how conversion rate will be and all of this in what period of time. 

I have knowledge in online marketing, I had my own online store but Is wasn't going well and I am worried to promise him sth which I will not achieve. 

Is 400 likes on FB in 1st month ok? - The product is not well known in Europe. 

400 followers on Instagram?

Conversion rate - 0.5 % or 1% and in what period of time is realistic?

Hey Anika,

The number of followers (which is the ultimate aim of page likes advertisement) really depends on the Advertising budget. 

But, getting more number of followers on Facebook and Instagram does not necessarily mean more sales or conversion. Running advertisements with post engagement objective would help you in both getting more followers and ultimately more sales. Posting the right content and boosting the post also helps.
