We have a social sharing image set up at the right ratio in the Shopify settings, but the link is now using our logo instead. Not sure how to fix? It used to work...

Website: https://wearedogood.co.uk/

Here is what is showing:

But we want this to show:

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi there @stevedogood. I can take a look into this with you.

When did this stop displaying the correct image? Have you made any recent changes to your theme? Either the theme itself, the theme code or within your theme editor? Also, which theme are you currently using?

The image that appears in Online store > Preferences is a fall back image which means that if you have a social media image coded into your theme, or a social media image manually uploaded into your theme editor, those images will be displayed first by the social media platform.

When a social sharing image is not manually uploaded, Shopify may also use other images added to your theme as a fallback. Typically we would use the logo in your header or the logo in your checkout process so I'm thinking this may also explain what is happening. It's possible that the theme you are using has a specific setting for the social sharing image and if it is not being used it may be triggering us to use to your logo instead. You can read more information about this on this page here.

If you've checked the areas I've mentioned and it's still not working please don't hesitate to reply back. I'm happy to troubleshoot this with you further.
