Solving the number 1 problem with most Shopify stores... Sales.

Marketing is the main cog in generating sales, conversions, leads or whatever you name it.

It helps to have a "polished" store with a great customer UX (Shopify help incredibly with that element) but its ultimately up to you to drive traffic, get your message out there and sell your product or services.

Hi Ralph, it depends what we are marketing.

One of the stores we own sells Phone cases. We use content marketing well to gain traffic from user searches on Google. Rather than trying to sell the actual product, we post quality content based on actual user searches. If you can answer a users question, you can gain their trust which gives you authority. This makes selling to that user a little bit easier. A guide on the 5 best phone cases for a particular model and why is a good content piece that can answer a users question for example.

We then "sticth" this content in to various other blog posts, pages, products and collections creating a web of content. 

Thats just 1 of the many ways we market.

Hello there.

I started my store in the early feburary and I am quite lost right now. I tried to advertised some of my products with some instagram influencers and created a multiple of facebook ad for different products. I have spend around $250 on ads so far. There are some add to carts but no purchase.  I do show freeshipping and some discounts on my ad copy. I have adertised many products but none of them generate me any revenue. Is the $5 facebook ad still working? And after running all my ad on $5, I do not see any significant improve. Should I start to use the marketing app such as pollen?
