Stop Gmail accounts receiving emails as promotions

Hi All,

I have just launched my store & have found that my emails are landing in the "promotions" inbox for people who have gmail accounts. Is there away to get my emails to hit their "primary" inbox ?

It depends on many elements, such as service provider, sender’s domain, quality of email list, email frequency, IP reputation, and overall sender’s reputation profile.

Gmail uses smart algorithms to scan every email. If you send marketing emails or bulk emails that include deals, offers and, other promotional messages from a third-party email service provider or email marketing software like Mailchimp, Aweber, ActiveCampaign, etc., this would trigger the filters. This is the reason why your emails go into the promotions box.

There are plenty of words that will trigger the smart Gmail filters and send your email in the promotions box.
