Hello, guys!
My store isn’t eligible for Instagram product tagging and I don't know why. I tried different ways to connect, but it is not working anyway. That's why I decided to ask you..
I have everything Shopify, Facebook and Instagram asks. Business profile, facebook store is working and everything is fine, but Instagram doesn't allow my store to tag products. I connect Instagram Channel, refresh the page and in the same second I see that my store "isn’t eligible". What can it be? They even don't take a couple days for review. I'm not eligible instantly. Maybe it's my products Titles? I have words like "Sexy", "Erotic", "NSFW", "Disney".. Same words in tags? Should I change it?
Thank you.

Hello, Akanksha!
Thank you SO MUCH! That was a headache for months for me! I hope it will work. Last step is to wait 24-72 hours.. So I will wait and see..
I didn't get.. should I connect Instagram Sales Channel and Facebook back or leave it as it is?..
Let's see..
Thank you very much again!
Andrew
Did it work?
I also have the same issue and i'm selling organic, natural dog food & treats. I've just stopped spending any money on promoted posts now
Same thing here! Any fix ?
I tried all of this and it didn't work for me. Feb 2019 and my instagram shop is still not approved.
This fix isn't viable for dropshippers. If you set up your Facebook Store manually, Facebook forces you to set shipping times under 7 days or less in step 6 of the store setup wizard.
Shopify, we need a real solution to this issue. We need to be able to change the catalog owner from Shopify to our own Facebook Account, or Instagram will automatically reject any attempts to link our stores for product tagging.

Only Shopify customer would be answer that concern.

Hi, I'm not exactly sure what this means. I'd like to hear a response from Shopify Staff. I also created a ticket with support@shopify.com several days ago, and have not received any sort of response there either.
It seem they are busy at this moment. Hopefully, some Shopify Staff would answer here in the thread.
Would also like guidance with the same issue. Selling simple engraved stones I though that Instagram must have made a mistake in not approving my store after reading through the Facebook commerce policies. There is no explanation and the links for more info, contacting Instagram, and creating an appeal are all dead ends.
For weeks I waited for facebook to approve my shop until earlier today. I removed it from the sales channel then added it back and it got approved within minutes. I'm not seeing any way of doing that with Instagram unless I remove facebook again?

I’m also very frustrated about not being able to tag my products on Instagram. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. I really need a fix as this was going to be key to getting business to my website
Did you ever get in? If not, I can fix it for you.

There is nothing like that for instagram. And the process to getting the disapproval reversed is not as simple as a, b, c. If you still need help, I can get you approved, I've successfully done it for other stores.

No I’m still unable to get my business approved on Instagram
Would you like me to get it fixed for you?
I'm having the same problem. My products are not allowed to be tagged on Instagram, google or Facebook. It's crazy... Organic teas are not allowed because it says what they are used for. Give me a break....

Hey there - did you get a specific message in regard to your products?
FB and IG are very touchy about the language used in regard to health.
It sounds like you may have a different issue from most of the people on this thread, but there's a good chance I can still help you get approved.
