SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
So I added the Google app to my Shopify Store and created a campaign, however when I create a campaign, it doesn't give me the option to target specific audience via interests or searched keywords or anything.
How does Google even know what I'm selling? My product titles won't tell Google that.
Can anyone tell me how it works?
Thanks

This is an accepted solution.
Google Shopping doesn't work off keyword lists or audience. It uses information in your feed (basically, information about your product like title, description, gtin, category, materials, etc) to deliver. It is different to Google search ads and Facebook ads in that sense. It'll help to learn more about the channel. To be a little self-promotional but helpful, my free Google Shopping book is a good start. It is something we follow to optimize high-performing client accounts.

Thanks! Nothing wrong with self-promotion when it's appropriate. I'm new to Google Shopping Ads so i'll be checking out your book
