Subscriber List: Klavyio x Shopify

Hey, Guys!

I'm using the Klavyio app and my Subscribe List funnel looks like this:

- When the Client Enter First Time In the website, Popup Notification Asking to Join the Subscribe List (Klavyo)

- Klavyo Send a Confirmation Email to The Client

- If the Client Confirms, It will Enter the Subscribe List, also will receive a Discount Code

 

Everything is working fine, but I notice that the clients that I'm collecting the email to my subscriber list are only appearing on the Klavyo subscriber list, When I click on COSTUMERS at Shoppify's dashboard, they don't appear at all.

 

1- I thought that Klavyos Subscribers List and my Shoppify Subscriber list needed to be the same: My Website Subscriber List. Am I wrong

 

2 - I read in the Shopify Marketing Email Guide that you can activate the Email Subscribe Optin at the Settings > Notifications > Email double opt-in section. The problem is: I can't find this on my dashboard. How do I turn it on?

 

3- How can I edit the message that Shopify send to the customer about the Subscribe Verification?

I don't think Klaviyo syncs the subscribers who are non-customers back to Shopify's customer's list. Are you having trouble sending the subscribers the discount? If not, keeping your non-customer subscribers separate inside Klaviyo isn't a bad idea. You can always download their information as a CSV if you want to.

I have 2 ways that you can enter in my subscriber list:
1- When you first enter in the website and a popup appears (Klavyo)

2- At the end of the frontpage of my site (Shopify).

So, think I'll have 2 different subscriber list: one for Shopify, and other for Klavyo. Is that right ?

The second option should pull in signups into your Shopify list, while the first only pulls into Klaviyo. The second option also should sync from Shopify to Klaviyo, so those contacts should also be reflected inside Klaviyo. Can you check if this is the case? Depending on your setup, those contacts from the second option in Klaviyo may not live in a specific list, but are part of the general database of contacts, which you can still search and find.
