Tagging Gift Cards on Instagram

My client regularly tags his products on Instagram, even newly-added ones. We recently upgraded his account so we could offer Gift Cards but the listing is not available for IG tagging. Does anyone else have experience with this?

This is a great question! Gift Cards are actually restricted from being sold on Instagram and Facebook. You can take a look at their policy on this here. In this case, you would need to use the caption of your photo in order to bring attention to your gift card products.

How have you and your client found the Instagram sales channel so far? Do you find that this is the best marketing strategy for the business, or do you find another platform the best for driving sales? It looks like they have changed those terms and are now offering gift cards for shopping on Instagram. Are you able to provide an update on when Shopify might be integrating with FB/IN to offer Shopify gift cards on those platforms?

I would like to know the answer to this question also. I would like to integrate my shopify gift cards onto Instagram. They are now offering action buttons that enable you to sell gift cards, but it does not have an option for shopify. I dont want to use third party. Any fixes?

Hello! In order to help businesses, IG and FB are now promoting the selling of gift cards through their platforms. But Shopify is not listed as a partner. Is it possible for Shopify to become a partner quickly so we can use this feature on IG and FB? It would be really helpful!
