Dear all,

First thing first: my website www.capelin-crew.com from shopify, and another one www.lotogarment.com built by a third party SEO provider.

Problem: lots of web search result do not show thumbnail image even though there are images with title & alt text in the page.

My question is more general: What does google use to decided whether or not to show a thumbnail image on the search result? What can I do to improve the possibility of showing a thumbnail image on the search result? (obviously there will be more clicks if there is image).

Thanks in advance!!!

Best regards,

Sam

There are a few things you can do to make Google show a thumbnail image on the search result. First, make sure that your site is properly formatted and that all of your images have been properly tagged with the appropriate keywords. Also, be sure to create a good sitemap and submit it to Google. And lastly, continue to produce high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience. If you do all of these things, you should start seeing better results in no time. I wish you the best of luck!

Hello Ketan,

Thanks for your reply. Right....Google controls it, but maybe anyone understands why? I'm cooperating with a third party and they told me it is a matter of 1). time of the domain, 2). quality of the content, and 3). title & alt of the image. I'm not sure if they are correct and looking for some advices :).

Thanks!
