Hello Shopify Community,

 

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with tracking Facebook events for one of my Shopify stores and need some guidance. I've integrated the Facebook and Instagram apps in my Shopify store and set up the partner integration with Shopify on Facebook.

 

For some of our stores, everything is working perfectly. However, for another store, I'm facing inconsistencies. The Page View event is tracking correctly across all platforms:

  • It shows as active in the Data Source Overview section on Facebook.
  • It's visible when using the Test Event Tool on the Test events section on Facebook.
  • The Facebook Pixel Helper extension also confirms its activity.

The problem arises with the 'View Content' and 'Add to Cart' events.

These events:

  • Appear active in the Data Source Overview on Facebook.
  • Do not show up in the Test events sections on Facebook.
  • Appear inactive according to the Facebook Pixel Helper extension.

This issue is critical as it affects the performance of our dynamic remarketing campaigns on Facebook.

 

I'd appreciate any insights, experiences, or solutions that could help resolve these tracking inconsistencies.
