Turn blog post into a pdf

How can I create a downloadable pdf of my blog posts? I want my customers to be able to download a pdf. I read a few threads but didn't see an up-to-date answer. Thanks for your help! Winfried (www.blanda-beauty.com)

Nick here from Shopify. 

Great question. There is a way to create a downloadable file to your website which you can then attach to your blog where customers can download it. While it may not be a PDF exactly it's the closest thing natively within Shopify for something like this. Shopify does also have a guide going through all the steps on how to create a downloadable file which you can see here. 

Alternatively, if you were set on it being a PDF file specifically you could look into reaching out to a Shopify Expert directly about something like this being custom made for you.

Hi Nick, thanks for your answer. The link you included points to a help article called "uploading files to your website". Is this what you meant with the closest thing to a pdf? If yes, I'm sorry but i don't see how this helps me to create a downloadable pdf or pdf like file.

Apologies, maybe I wasn't very clear in my first response. You can add a downloadable file to your website, whether it is a product page, collection page, homepage, or a blog post which you are most interested in doing. 

Once the file has been uploaded you can make it a clickable link for your blog visitors to download similar to how it would be for a PDF file which is what I meant, by close to a PDF, but exactly the same.

Did you find a solution to turn a blog post into a PDF? or even an app that can insert itself into a blog post with a fancy button that says "download post as PDF" ?

It wouldn't be hard to manually do it per blog post. Most blogs could be converted to a PDF within 1 minute with a copy-and-paste. Microsoft Word or OpenOffice can turn word files into PDFs.
