Unable to Publish an Ad in Shopify Facebook

I have been republishing all day but still no luck.  Can you possibly help me?

Ash here from the Shopify team! Thank you for sending me these screenshots to help explain the issue you're facing. 

When error messages like these occur while trying to publish ads on Facebook, the errors are sent directly from Facebook and don't always reflect the true nature of the issue when displayed on Shopify. With that said, I did some digging and found some other users with a similar issue who were able to find a solution. Here's the solution they were able to find: 

  • Go to your Facebook business manager account.
  • Under business settings, go to business info.
  • Provide your email address and click on " Send verification Email"
  • Go to your inbox and verify it. If not found in primary inbox, try checking under social tab or spam.
  • Once verified, edit your facebook campaign on Shopify and re-submit it.

Hi Ash!

I've got the exact same issue but I do not see the 'verify e-mail address' button in my Facebook ads manager info, I think I've done this at some point.

I had the same wonder. You need to keep scrolling down, past the "Business Options" where you will find it in "My Info".
