SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
hi there. my shop is online since end of 2023. I am doing some marketing and getting steadily visitors. some also put products in their cart but somehow dont finish the purchase.
I am dropshipping from Ali so delivery is rather long. could that be the only striking reason? do you recommend working with other suppliers since I want to sell globally?
I know I am a beginner but I am feeling brave.
thanks a lot for helping out.

Your store design is really good.
The industry average conversion rate for sportswear sits around 2.5-2.8%, so if you're anywhere around that after just starting out you're already doing great. If you are interested in increasing your conversions further, I would recommend some of the following:
1) Try running sales and promotions and see how it affects your conversions.
2) Add customer reviews and testimonials as you start collecting those -- social proof and validation is important to buyers.
3) Personalization + LiveChat: Add a way for customers to get personalized recommendations and help. I would recommend adding an AI agent to your site, so your customers can get personalized shopping recommendations 24/7 and with no delay. It's livechat and personalization rolled into one, which can definitely help increase store conversions. Hi StaminaFlex,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
First of all, your site looks quite wonderful and professionally made! I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:
1. Call to action button. Add some call-to-action buttons under your products on your landing page, as well as on your product page.
2. Connect Social Media. I have just gone ahead and followed you on social media! Creating some content with some of your products (in video form) might be a good way to attract an audience. If you have some samples at hand, it would be a good idea to make some original videos. Also, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.
3. Adding a blog. Adding blog posts about workouts, dieting, how to choose equipment etc. Anything that would add value for your intended audience would help draw people to your site.
4. Influencer Collab. Since you have visually appealing products, it would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your pieces, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store.
5. Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure to always be telling your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store.
6. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
Hope this helps!

Hi @StaminaFlex
Your website looks great, but it's true that long delivery times might be causing some customers to hesitate with their purchases. However, this isn't the only area for improvement. Here are a few of my suggestions to enhance your site further:
And I know you want to sell globally, but if you're new, I recommend that you focus on a few potential markets first (e.g. check on GA to see where most of your traffic comes from) and look for suppliers that offer fast delivery time to those specific markets.
I hope that this helps!
