What are the best agencies for marketing assistance?

I am inundated with daily emails from businesses who promises to expand my current business by 3-5x.  If I had a $1 for every "quick question," "Can we chat," email etc...I could close the business.  We have an amazing product line, website and brand that has been around for 20+ years but definitely could use some Shopify marketing assistance.

Does anyone have an agencies or marketing experts they can recommend and what should I expect to pay for such services?  How did they change your business?

You can always go with some prevetted marketplaces to reduce your risk of hiring the wrong marketing experts. Mayple, marketerhire all does it. you can start as low as 2k dollars and if they get you results you can increase your budget.

Hi Jonathan,

Firstly, I sympathize with your situation. As someone who's worked in a marketing agency in the past, I know how important it is for you to find an agency that caters to the specific needs of your business. Unfortunately, finding an agency or expert that is the right fit isn't necessarily a walk in the park. There'll be hurdles along the way.

However, you can make your next discovery call easier by setting out specific goals for what you want to achieve with your product or brand, then interviewing agencies along set parameters that meet those goals.

It's good practice to look at what your competition (at different stages) does to sell itself and mirror those marketing strategies when setting your goals. This will give you an idea of the type of marketing agency to look out for. Then, you can look through forums or marketing communities on LinkedIn for experts who can provide services in your niche.

Hope this helps.🙂

Hey @Hedden_LLC, so the problem is that if you're ad budget is say 5k /m then you might expect to pay up to 20% of that to a good agency. The more channels you are using the more you might expect to pay.

If you are comfortable setting up ad campaigns in the various channels then a solution such as the one mentioned by Noam or Optily.

These types of solution give you a lot of the smarts you pay a agency for but without the cost. You remain in full control and a solution like Optily comes with white glove service so you get an expert advisor at the end of a chat or video call.

Sorry for the late response, but I couldn't resist sharing my experience with marketing agencies. I used to get bombarded with those "quick question" emails too, and it was driving me crazy! Still, I was looking for a solution for my own business because deep inside, I knew that I needed a brand new marketing campaign.
