SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi Everyone,
I recently launched my supplement brand store, and it's been a few weeks now. I've been focusing on engagement ads so far, with plans to start Google Ads soon. My team suggests that building brand awareness and credibility is key since I don't have any reviews yet.
I'm looking for advice on how to give my site the best chance at success and drive conversions. I understand that patience and consistency are essential, but any additional tips would be greatly appreciated.
Regarding Google Ads, I believe it will help us gauge demand for our products and show how often people are searching for items in our niche. While running Facebook ads, we've had a lot of engagement—many people asking for prices and where to buy—but there haven’t been many conversions. Is this normal?
My site also any advice on free items for reviews or discounts
Hey there @mm320359 , this is Alexis from Akohub. Congrats on launching your supplement brand:D t’s exciting to get started, but I totally get how challenging the first few weeks can be. Let’s break this down and see where you can make some tweaks to drive more conversions.
First off, it’s completely normal to see a lot of engagement without conversions early on, especially with Facebook ads. This is often because engagement ads are optimized to get clicks, likes, or comments, not necessarily purchases. The good news is that you're generating interest, which means your product resonates. What you might want to do next is shift towards conversion-focused campaigns. Have you thought of running retargeting ads? It helps to bring back visitors who didn't convert the first time around. Show them the products they viewed along with a small discount as this can be super effective for turning “maybe” into “yes!” If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, our app, Ako Retargeting combines retargeting with loyalty and CRM features, helping you bring in new customers and keep them coming back.
On the Google Ads side, you’re absolutely right, it can be super helpful for gauging demand in your niche. For supplements, consider running search campaigns with high-intent keywords like “best [your product type] supplement” or “buy [product name] online.” You can also use retargeting ads to capture visitors who’ve already engaged with your site but didn’t convert. It’s all about staying top-of-mind.
Regarding the reviews, it's true that that building credibility is key, especially in a space like supplements where trust plays a huge role. Offering free samples in exchange for honest reviews can be a game-changer. You could reach out to micro-influencers in the health and wellness space or even loyal social media followers who’d be happy to try your product. Be clear about requesting authentic feedback rather than incentivizing glowing reviews—transparency builds trust.
As for discounts, a small “first purchase” deal can work wonders to nudge new customers over the line. Something like “10% off your first order” or “Free shipping on orders over $50” creates an easy entry point. You could also consider bundling deals—like a discounted pack of three supplements—since people are often looking for value when shopping online.
Lastly, don’t underestimate the value of a loyalty program, it can help you to retain and grow your customers by rewarding them for getting back to your store. App liks Ako Loyalty can help you to create multi-tier program and reward customers with points or perks for making purchases, encouraging them to keep coming back!
Best wishes! 🙂 Let me know how it goes~
Currently doing ads with my team got 1.6k imprestions and 13 clicks is it good or not
was told that the 1 customer is the hardest. any more advice. want to see my site. i added compare price like 29.99 to 19.99. Wete getting average 10 to 15 visitors on my site. Congratulations on launching your supplement brand! I've been in your shoes, and I know how challenging it can be.
I successfully scaled my fashion brand to $15,000/month using TikTok ads and Meta ads, and email marketing played a crucial role. Initially, I struggled with conversions, but expert guidance transformed my email strategy.
For your supplement brand, I recommend:
1. Building an email list from day one
2. Creating engaging content (blog posts, videos, podcasts)
3. Offering incentives (discounts, free shipping) for email sign-ups
4. Setting up email automation workflows (welcome series, abandoned cart reminders)
5. Optimizing email subject lines and CTAs
Consider seeking professional help for email automation and email marketing. It made a huge difference for me.
Regarding Google Ads, you're on the right track. It will help gauge demand and show search volume.
Isnt email for customers as I havd none is it sill good idea
hey. first of all congrats for your new supplement store.
as you are just starting off, it will be very important to get reviews and market your products well. in that case, a good starting point will be to ask your friends and family to try your products and share their reviews on your website. that will help you build credibility and trust. also, apart from that, you can give some free samples to customers, and ask them to try your products, and then you can further share their testimonials.
apart from that, you should also focus on building a good website, that provides all the details your products comprehensively, and answers all questions any prospective customer might have (through FAQs, etc.)
in case you wish to expand (which I can see you do), my suggestion will be to take your products to Google Shopping, and all other top marketplaces like Facebook, X, Pinterest, etc. Why so? that will provide a lot of exposure to your products, and widen the reach of your marketing efforts.
also, I can suggest you a good app as well, that will help you sync and market your Shopify products on other leading marketplaces. it's AdNabu.
it's a Shopify product feed management app, which uses advanced AI to optimize and enhance your feeds. and it can help you go global with its multilingual and multicurrency support functionality for Google Shopping.
i believe it will help you a lot in terms of boosting your marketing efforts. and as you are just starting out, you must know, it's an affordable solution.
hope this helps.
