How to do a successful campaign?
What campaign type should I choose- traffic or conversions?
What is considered an average daily budget?
If you just build a completely new Shopify store, you should definitely drive traffic to your website first to let your customers know what products you are selling. I'm not sure which e-commerce category you're in, but I'll suggest targeting a large population country in the beginning and setting up at least three sets of the pilot campaign at $50-$100 per day in a week, to see the results. It's just a very general suggestion due to your limited background information but I'd love to chat more!
Hello @Gadgetime125,
Promoting your Shopify store better is the key to driving traffic, boosting sales, and maximizing your return on investment. You have to convert the traffic to sales. You can do this through many strategies.
1. Content marketing
You can promote your store through articles or blog posts, videos, and other forms of digital content.
2. Email campaigns
An email campaign is a sequence of marketing efforts that contacts multiple recipients at once. Email campaigns are designed to reach out to subscribers at the best time and provide valuable content and relevant offers. Using email campaigns allows you to build deep and trusting relationships with your customers. An effective email campaign will help in gather data about subscribers, provide valuable content to customers, encourage customer engagement, drive conversion and increase site traffic, get helpful feedback from customers and build a customer loyalty program. Email campaign includes welcome email, newsletters, transactional emails, etc.
3. Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is a reward-based system that encourages partners to promote your products in exchange for a commission. Anyone can sign up to be an affiliate, though. An affiliate signs up for your affiliate program and sends visitors to your Shopify store through their special referral link, and any sales that you make as a result of their promotion earn the marketer a reward.
4. Google Shopping
With the partnership with Google, Shopify automatically syncs your products and relevant information about your Shopify store with the Google Merchant Center. You can also connect your Google Ads account as well to create Google Smart Shopping campaigns from within Shopify.
5. Facebook campaigns
You can use Shopify's Facebook channel to sync your products to a catalog on Facebook so that you can create marketing activities on Facebook directly from Shopify. You need to configure your Facebook marketing settings inside of Shopify's Facebook sales channel. After that is set up, you can create Facebook ad campaigns from the "Marketing" section of your Shopify admin.
6. Posting on social media can be a good way to promote your online store and connect with customers. You can create social media accounts for your business to help build your brand, improve your SEO, and increase traffic to your store.
It's wise to invest 10-30% of revenue back into ads. But upto 40% of paid ads are clicked by competitor bots, according to Adobe research. Every marketing channel demands more $$$, except one. Consumers trust organic sales channels like Google and rely on it even more and are using it at a rate that exceeds the growth of display and organic social. flareAI will help to scale your site sustainably at NO Agency fees, NO Pay-per-click, NO paid marketplaces. flareAI actively grows your store presence on Google Search. Hi @Gadgetime125,
Your marketing campaign depends on your strategy. What kind of marketing plan do you have? The guide takes you through the essential steps:
Crucial to successful marketing is knowing who your customer is, which means having customer avatars clear in your mind.
If you know who your customer is, then you know the person with whom you're having a conversation, and you know what kind of conversation you need to have. What are their likes/dislikes? Their fears/dreams?
Once you know this, you can decide how you're going to reach out to them to draw traffic to your site:
1. Whether you're going to use paid marketing on Facebook or Google ads, or both.
2. Which channels should you be focusing your attention on with your content strategy.
3. Which Key Performance Indicators matter most
4. How to track your marketing performance using Shopify Analytics.
As @dianazyy @flareAI have pointed out, attracting visitors to your site is your first primary objective. You need to promote your brand in order to help familiarise people with it
It helps to think of the journey customers take in terms of the content marketing funnel:
You don't have visitors who can evaluate your site and therefore convert unless you're raising awareness. So think carefully about that first step, because putting your best foot forward is fundamental to your business success.
