I am looking for the best way and what will work for Facebook ads. I've had my shop now since 2002 and had been doing great but had to take a job helping someone. While I was working I kind of let my shop go because I couldn't do both. Woman I was helping is disabled and only had to concentrate on one job. Anyway long story short I took back my shop over the summer and was doing fairly good. Now I'm spending more money on advertising than getting orders.

What I'm asking is what's the best Facebook advertising for the money so I'm not in the whole with just advertise. I have ads out and just getting website clicks even though I have sales going on. I'm stuck in a whole lol it seems.

Thank you!

Michelle

Yes I have all this. I guess I'm just stuck in a rut 🤣. I've had my site now for little over four years and like I mentioned I was doing good until I let it go because of work. Took it back over the summer and was making a living. Now not so much. I also have a Facebook page with over 4,000 people. I run live videos everyday. In fact was doing really well with that until Facebook away the live shopping features. I do post links but a lot of people much rather just click on the item itself for some reason. Hopefully it will get better.

Hello @Michellestreas,

I'm Gina - Product Manager at flareAI. flareAI has helped Shopify stores generate $5 million in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

If it's helpful to you, please let me know by giving it a like or marking it as a solution.

You can run ads to get sales but in general, organic search is more cost-effective in the long run. If you have an organic search result that gets the same number of clicks as an ad, the organic result will have a better ROI. By tapping into free sources of traffic, you’ll start generating a good amount of sales on your Shopify store.

You can follow the below strategies to drive traffic to your Shopify store.

1. Optimize your shopify store for search engine traffic
One way to optimize your store is by adding Keywords which are the search terms that people use with the search engines and will be what guide you in your search engine optimization. Once you gather all relevant keywords that are relevant to your product and your niche market, begin using them all throughout your website like in Product Titles, Product Descriptions, Alt Tags on Images and any other additional content.
2. Attract customers with content marketing
Just like your product descriptions will help attract visitors to your Shopify site, so will any other content on your website. A simple paragraph at the bottom of each category page with a lot of keywords that are likely used on search engines will do the trick.
3. Write guest posts for sites within your niche
The websites on the top of the search engine results pages likely have a lot of other websites linking to them. The more links pointing to your website, the better. Rather than wait for other websites to direct traffic to you through a link, it is easiest to offer to write a guest post for other blogs within your niche.
4. Write blog post features of influencers in your market
Another way to get more links and increase traffic to your online shop is by writing a blog post that features influencers in your niche market.
5. Integrate social media
Integrate social media in your website to receive all of the new traffic on social media.
6. Showcase your products with powerful text, images, and video
Your product description should be detailed and evocative. Include vital product specifications as well as a powerful story about the product. Commerce is built on great storytelling.
7. Remind abandoned cart customers
With abandoned cart emails, you can remind your customers of the items they expressed interest in and then left your store with no intention of returning. You can do this from your store Settings > Checkout > Abandoned Cart section > Choose to send abandoned cart emails either one, six, 10, or 24 hours after a customer abandons a cart.

Your customers trust Google Search more than Ads. 53% of eCommerce traffic is Search, far greater than Paid Ads & Social Media. We created flareAI to deliver feeds to organic channels on a regular basis without taking your time. flareAI will help to scale your site sustainably at NO Agency fees, NO Pay-per-click, NO paid marketplaces. With flareAI, your site can access the world's dominant Free eCommerce services in one Shopify App.

Also, I did a https://flareai.co Instant FOG on your store. Customers searching on Google are only able to find 26% of your site. The remaining 74% is missing from Google.

@Michellestreas , to answer your question "what's the best Facebook advertising for the money" here's my tuppence worth:

  1. Run Dynamic Product ads for remarketing to anyone who visits your site - assume that people won't buy the first time they visit your site, so you'll need to remarket to them to ensure you stay top of mind. This will be very cost effective ads as you will be targeting a very narrow audience plus you'll get the highest conversion rates here.

  2. Run prospecting ads to Lookalike audiences from people who've bought from you, visited your site and who follow you on Facebook & Instagram. Ideally, if you can use collection ads, you'll get the benefit of both video and your product feed.

I like your product videos that you post on Instagram & TikTok. If you can put a little branding into them after the first second or so, it will help with reinforcing your brand.

Also, if you can keep them to 15 seconds max, that will work best for you in the various channels. Try a formula like this which consistently works when selling a product:

  • Frame 1  - Grab attention (first second)
  • Frame 2 - Get your brand name in with key message (2-5 seconds)
  • Frame 3 - Highlight features and benefits of the product (6-11 seconds)
  • Frame 4 - Your brand logo and main call to action (12-15 seconds)

Finally, I notice that you don't have the Facebook Pixel installed. Do install that before you begin as it will start to help you build audiences for marketing to and building lookalikes from.

I hope that helps...
