Hey guys
I've been running some tiktok ads lately, and I also got few Sales. But sometimes I see, that the Conversions which I see on shopify don't update on tiktok ads. It still shows zero Conversions after I got one.
Now my question is: Does this affect my Tiktok scaling? Because, tiktok can't set their algorithm to the people who convert? And my other question is, if this is normal, that tiktok needs that long to update conversions, and how I can fix this?

If you re getting sales from the tiktok ads campaign and those conversions are not showing against the campaign result then conversion Tracking is now working at all.
When someone make purchase from a tiktok ads browser store tiktok cookies like _ttp just like FBC cookies for meta ads. But now website browser/server is unable to identify the sales from ads because of wrong conversion tracking.
Without purchase Tracking your ads wont be enough optimize to minimize the CPM. The more purchase event ads manager get with user provided data like name email, phone The better your ads will perform.
If you are using tiktok apps to track the conversion but not working at all, consider Google Tag Manager GTM to configure the purchase tracking from the ads campaign.
GTM is a manual tracking process which is pretty much reliable for any kind of tracking purpose. while apps are manual has a lot of technical error.
Furthermore, GTM enables us to configure Conversion API to track data both from browser/client and server side which ensure maximum data accuracy and increase event match quality.
