Why am I getting TikTok views but no sales?

Why am I getting TikTok views but no sales?

1 0 2

So I’ve just launched my store (dcfire.com.pl) and want to know if I’m doing something wrong.

I’ve paid for ads on TikTok and got like 16k views in one day, but only 10 customers visited my store. Out of all of them there were no transactions and I don’t know if I’m missing something or doing something wrong. I’ve got 2 campaigns and one’s got 16/17k and the other one is around 15k. I don’t know if I should be patient or should I be worried.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

I am Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing low sales can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I have some feedback for your Store and hope that they can help you increase sales.

1. Make sure people can tell what you sell in 5 seconds

The 5-second test in website design refers to the critical first few seconds when a visitor lands on a website. It is the short window of time in which you have to capture their attention and convey your message effectively.

The banner is a bit big so in 5 seconds the customers cannot realize what you are selling. Also it doesn't make the whole quote outstanding. Moreover, include a clear and compelling call-to-action (CTA) that prompts users to take action.I will take one of my template as an example.

2.  Show Product list with CTA buttons

Having a list of products is a great part which helps your customers to have general information about your products. With each product, you can add a CTA button which makes it clear to potential customers which action to take next and helps remove friction in moving the user down the sales funnel.

customers and facilitating their progression through the sales funnel by minimizing obstacles.

3. Diversify Your Product Range

As you are selling phone cases, your product's variety is really important. When customers have more options to choose from, they are more likely to make additional purchases, increasing the average order value and overall revenue for your business.

In a competitive market, diversifying your product range can give you a competitive edge. It allows you to differentiate yourself from competitors and offer unique value propositions that attract customers. It also positions your business as versatile and adaptable to changing market trends.

4. Have a benefit section

Including a dedicated section highlighting the benefits of your products or services on the homepage can significantly impact consumer purchasing decisions by providing compelling reasons to choose your brand over competitors.

By strategically placing this benefit section, you can effectively engage visitors, minimize bounce rates, and ultimately increase the likelihood of conversions and sales.

Hello @DCFIRE,

Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

Launching a new Shopify store and running ads can be an exciting but challenging experience. It's understandable that you might be concerned if you're not seeing the desired results from your TikTok ads. However, there are several factors to consider before jumping to conclusions.

Firstly, it's important to analyze your ad targeting. While having a high number of views is positive, you need to ensure that your ads are reaching your intended target audience. Take a closer look at your ad targeting settings on TikTok and make sure they align with the demographics, interests, and behaviors of your ideal customers. By refining your targeting, you can increase the likelihood of attracting relevant visitors to your store.

Next, evaluate your ad messaging and creative elements. Consider the effectiveness of your ad copy, images, or videos. Are they compelling, clear, and aligned with your brand and products? Your ad content should resonate with your target audience and entice them to click through to your store. Optimizing your ad creative can help make it more engaging and appealing, leading to higher click-through rates and driving more qualified traffic.

Once visitors click on your ads, their experience on your landing page becomes crucial. Evaluate your landing page to ensure it provides a seamless and user-friendly experience. It should clearly showcase your products, have compelling product descriptions, and include a clear call-to-action. Additionally, ensure that your landing page loads quickly and is mobile-friendly since TikTok users often access the platform from their mobile devices.

Building trust with potential customers is essential for conversions. Verify that your website has trust factors in place, such as clear contact information, customer reviews or testimonials, secure payment options, and trust badges. These elements can instill confidence in visitors and increase the likelihood of transactions.

Monitoring your website analytics is also important. Utilize Shopify's built-in analytics or tools like Google Analytics to gain insights into your website traffic and user behavior. Analyzing metrics such as bounce rate, time on site, and page navigation can provide valuable insights into user engagement and help identify any bottlenecks or issues in the conversion funnel. By tracking these metrics, you can pinpoint areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize your website's performance.

Remember, building a successful Shopify store is a journey that requires ongoing optimization and adaptation.

Hope this helps
