First of all, your site looks quite wonderful and well-made. I think the biggest issue to tackle is consumer trust. Having aspects like reviews, customer photos on social media (that are less than perfect), as well as a trust pilot rating might help.

Here are a few more suggestions:

Call to action button. Add some call-to-action buttons under your products on your landing page, as well as on your product page.

Connect Social Media. If you already have a growing Instagram account, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.

Influencer Collab. Since you have visually appealing products, it would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your pieces, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store.

Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure to always be telling your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store.

Testimonials. Try to showcase at least 5 testimonials on your site. Whether it's from friends and family, or your offline store customers. Having some social proof helps boost consumer confidence in your site.

Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Guy-reneelauren,

This is Kate at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app

First of all, your store looks stunning, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing low sales can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. In the long term, I believe that you should plan on adding social proof to your online store, even to your Facebook/ Google Ads flyers. This includes developing marketing campaigns to achieve:

  • Positive reviews and testimonials from satisfied customers
  • Social media likes/reactions or shares
  • Influencer marketing or celebrity endorsements
  • Expert social proof such as awards
  • Trust seals, badges, and case studies

2. However, I understand that it can be hard to get testimonials when the number of actual buyers is still low.

Thus, in the short term, I suggest other strategies that you can actively do to gain the trust of customers:

  • Give Details: You can provide trust by going into more detail about what they’re going to get, especially when the products are high-end. The product section on your homepage currently does not give enough information. Also, the subtext is not so attractive.

  • Show Industry Statistics: Show them that the things you’re telling them weren’t made up by you. You can find industry statistics to show to them and prove the issue you solve.

  • Show Yourself: People like to do business with people, not anonymous websites. So, show there is a real person behind your offer and your business.

Best regards,

Kate | PageFly Team

Hey Guy,

To start off, I would tell you that its important to try multiple avenues of traffic acquisition. My personal experience with google ads was not great. I found Facebook ads to deliver much higher quality traffic so I'd start off with that.

Aesthetically, your website looks great! Your products present very well visually but I think they lack descriptive content.

So, like others have said, I think adding some more content about the products, would do your conversion rate some good.

If you want to automate the whole process of finding super converting descriptions (and prices) checkout my app Crowly.

The app has a free plan + I'd really love some feedback as well 😊

If you like it, I'd be happy to send you an app credit so you can test out the Plus plan.

All the best,

Ethan

Hi Ethan
.Thanks for reaching out and giving such a valuable feedback
We're always trying to improve, therefore your offer to install crowly
sounded very good and so I did.
>From a first glance after installing the app I see that I can only use the
app abilities for one product.. This is somewhat disappointing because the
free plan promised unlimited description generation. I thought description
generation was part of the free plan for an unlimited amount of products.
If possible I'd appreciate app credit so I can use it on a broader scale in
my store.
In return I'd be happy to write a review in the Shopify app store (I saw
there is only one).
