SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hello all,
I have tried to find the answer to this issue and have not come up with any solution!
I have several hundred products on my website and currently want to optimize the SEO for a small portion of them. I have edited the SEO content for a few of my pages and Google still has not updated the SERP's, even though the site has been crawled several times.
Here is an example:
My edited content on Shopify:
Google's Result:
Where Google is say the page was crawled yesterday
Here is the link to my site https://ssbc-usa.com/
Any help is very much appreciated!
Also,
I have edited the URL's for several of my pages and that works because the links show up. I do not know why the other SEO edits do not update. I know Google has their own algorithm for creating page titles and meta descriptions, but they are not optimized for user search terms. Thanks again.
Everything is right. Google scanned your link but did not index it! Scanning and indexing are different things. It should take a few days, and for some links, it may take several weeks until Google indexes your link. You can speed up indexing, manually add a link and ask the Google robot to index it.

Thank you @LeoEcom!
I have previously submitted the page for indexing and nothing happened. I just submitted it again and will check back tomorrow. Thank you for this feedback.
Hi @Adrian_Zannin,
There're several reasons Google shows the wrong meta title description for your homepage.
As LeanidasEcom mentioned above, if you’ve recently updated your meta title and description, Google might not have crawled the page, or updated their index with your content. It can take time for Google to process the changes you made, depending on how frequently your website is crawled.
Another common reason is that Google thinks that its title and description are better. Here are a few potential scenarios:
If Google decides to change, ignore, or show something other than your specified meta title and description, there’s, unfortunately, nothing that you can do about it. The best advice we can provide is to try a different title and description. Make sure your meta description accurately reflects what’s on your page and keep it around 160 characters.
I hope my answer can help.
Thank you! I understand Google usually knows everything, but the title it is still using does not help my store. This is pretty frustrating, having the ability to optimize, but Google not accepting it. I will take your advice in trying another title.
You can expect your meta title and description to get updated in 7 to 15 days. Google can take less or more as it is impacted by various factors. If you would like your metadata to be updated more regularly by default then you will have to maintain a healthy website with fresh content to be uploaded regularly.
Thank you. I hope this is the case and Google is just taking it's time indexing my site. I will continue to check on the pages daily.
