Why can't I access my paid Shopify plan from a different device?

i tried to log into my shopify account that i made on my phone from my laptop and it wants me to start a new plan all over again when i already paid for a plan

Hi there @jimmyb68. I'm happy to help you out with this! I just have a few questions to begin to make sure I give you the most helpful advice.

  • Can you walk me through the steps you are taking to log in from your laptop? Are you following these steps here to log in?
  • When you say that you are being asked to pay for a plan do you mean that you are able to log in to your account, but once you log in you are asked to select a plan to continue? Or are you unable to log in from your laptop altogether and instead you are being asked to create a new account?
  • Are you seeing any error messages when you attempt to get into your account from your laptop?
