Google keeps suspending my GMC account due to "website needs improvement."

I tried to figure out the issue, but I am not professional enough. Can anyone help? Please send a message.

By the way, my website address is: www.wishpools.com.au

I recommend adding more trust factors by including your business address, phone number, email address, social links on your contact page.

You need to show the availability status on the product landing page.

And I recommend having a look at my existing checklist here: https://community.shopify.com/c/ecommerce-marketing/checklist-suspended-google-merchant-center-accou...

Hi @Wishpools,

Hyde here from Shopify.

When Google suspends your account because it believes that your "website needs improvement" they mean that your website must meet certain editorial and professional standards, which are outlined in Google's support guide.

I know a lot of business owners may feel unsure of how to meet those standards, so there's a fantastic tool we like to recommend called Grow My Store that will assess your website's customer experience and give helpful tips to improve. You will need to enter your website URL and will receive a report via email based on a range of factors including product information, store details, personalization tips, frictionless shopping experience, site performance, and more.

Fundamentally the standards are there to ensure trustworthy websites, as @EmmanuelFlossie correctly points out. So I would recommend having a look at our forum post tips on building a trustworthy store.

You will need to reach out to Google for a manual review to lift the suspension once any changes have been made to the website. This can be done through the Merchant Center account under Products > Diagnostics > Account issues or by filling out this form.

Internally, please make sure to include GTINs for your products if the products aren't custom, or the product will remain unapproved. Google highlights this in their help guide How to fix: Limited performance due to missing identifiers.

I hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.

All the best, Hyde.

I already asked for a manual review but got the same answer, which looks like AI-generated. No pointed out any specific issue but suspended.

Yes, no point in contacting Google when you are suspended, prior to making improvements. The only way to resolve the issue is by reading the policies and one by one resolving all potential issues.

Requesting too many reviews, without resolving the issue, can lead to a permanent ban.
