They advertise scammers and then turn around and say that “we are just a platform and not the shop itself” but I only trusted buying from the platform because I figured shopify would make sure to offer advertisement to legitimate stores and refund their clients loney if it was not legitimate.
Shopify does not manage orders or fulfillment on behalf of the businesses using the platform, and therefore cannot facilitate refunds. Refund requests must be made to the store you ordered from. The easiest way to contact a store regarding your order is to reply directly to the order confirmation email you received after purchase. Alternatively, you can check their website for contact information such as a contact form, email address, or social media channels.
