Why is my affiliate's discount code showing as invalid?

Hi guys, one of our affiliates is having a trouble with her discount code. We use Refersion for sign up and Shopify to modify the percentage discount. Her Refersion account and the code that is registered under her name is active but when her customers use the code it says "Invalid Code" is this something you can help me with? Thanks!
