SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi Everyone, I am running a series of Facebook ads for my store. From the analytics, the FB ads generate a fair amount of traffic but very low conversions. I have clicked on the ads in FB from my personal FB account to see how the interface works and I found it to be extremely glitchy. When clicking on the FB add itself, it does not go to my stores website, it goes to an I.facebook version of my store. Here, the scroll functions don't work well at all, the page constantly reverts back to the top when you try and scroll down, the load speed is slow etc. If I was a purchaser, that would really frustrate me.
I have tried this with several other stores as well by clicking on the FB ads to see how they reflect and it is a very similar issue almost every time. I find that the larger store chains don't seem to have this issue though. It is very frustrating as these ads cost alot of money and then don't seem to bring the results.
Am I missing something here? Is there another way to do that so that it reflects correctly and that the user interface is smooth? I don't yet have FB shop set up as I don't have sufficient likes/ friends as yet but I don't believe this is the issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I use Brooklyn.
Does it have to do with the Facebook link issue I raised? If so, yes
Hi Cornerstonelase!
Maybe you should check Customerlytics on Shopify App Store. You can create detailed lookalike audience by location, purchase range and purchase frequency for your Facebook ads and increase ad conversion rates.
Hi there - did you ever find a fix to this? My website is through wix but i am having a very similar issue. When someone clicks on the image, it attempts to bring up an old version of the facebook store (no longer active due to FB restricting it in my country New Zealand) which shows an image for a second before closing back to the main facebook ad screen image.
No idea where to start in ID'ing this issue. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
