Hi @magital

Suppose you're experiencing difficulties seeing conversion data in the Facebook Ads performance report despite the Facebook pixel appearing to be working correctly. In that case, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Verify conversion event setup: Double-check that your conversion events are correctly set up in Facebook Events Manager. Ensure that the events you want to track are appropriately configured and associated with the correct pixel.

  2. Check attribution window: Verify the attribution window settings for your conversion events. Facebook Ads attribution windows determine how conversions are attributed to your ads. If your attribution window is set to a shorter duration, it's possible that the conversions aren't appearing in the performance report.

  3. Review campaign objectives: Ensure that your objectives align with the conversion events you track. For example, if you're tracking purchases, make sure your campaign objective is set to "Conversions" or "Purchase."

  4. Confirm data delay: Sometimes, there can be a delay in the reporting of conversion data in the Facebook Ads performance report. Check for a reporting delay and allow time for the data to populate.

  5. Check date range and filters: Make sure the date range you use in the Facebook Ads performance report is accurate and includes the period during which the conversions occurred. Also, review any filters that might be applied to the report and ensure they're not excluding the data you're looking for.

  6. Troubleshoot with Facebook support: If you've gone through the above steps and still need help accessing the conversion data in the Facebook Ads performance report, it's recommended to contact Facebook Ads support. Provide them with detailed information about the issue, including the steps you've taken to troubleshoot it. They can investigate further and provide more specific guidance.

By following these steps and working with Facebook support, you should be able to resolve the issue and access the conversion data in the Facebook Ads performance report.

Hello @magital,

Good day! Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

If you're encountering a situation where the Facebook Ads performance report columns show no conversion data, even though you're seeing sales and purchases from campaigns in your Shopify report and Google Analytics, there are several steps you can take to address the issue.

First, verify that your Facebook Pixel is set up correctly on your Shopify store. Ensure that the pixel code is properly implemented on all relevant pages, including the checkout success page where conversions are tracked. Double-check the pixel installation to ensure it's functioning as expected.

Next, confirm that the appropriate conversion events are set up and mapped correctly in your Facebook Events Manager. Check that the conversion events you want to track, such as "Purchase" or "Add to Cart," are properly configured and associated with the relevant conversion actions. This ensures that Facebook can track and attribute conversions accurately.

It's also essential to review the attribution window you've set up. The conversion data displayed in the Facebook Ads performance report may vary depending on the attribution window you've selected. Ensure that the attribution window aligns with the timeframe you expect to see conversions. Facebook offers different attribution windows, such as 1-day click, 7-day click, etc.

Keep in mind that there may be a delay in data processing between platforms. Allow some time for data to synchronize properly between Shopify, Facebook, and Google Analytics. Check the reporting after a reasonable amount of time has passed to see if the conversion data starts appearing.

To isolate the issue further, you can create a separate test campaign with a small budget. Conduct a transaction and observe if the conversion data shows up in the Facebook Ads performance report for this specific campaign. This can help determine if the problem is limited to certain campaigns or if it's a broader issue.

If the issue persists and none of the above steps resolve the problem, consider reaching out to Shopify's support or Facebook Ads support for further assistance. Provide them with detailed information about the issue and any troubleshooting steps you've already taken. They should be able to provide specific guidance based on their expertise.

Hope this is helpful

This is a very knowledgeable group. We see huge swings between what Google Ads and Facebook report in advertising sales conversions(Google facebook) vs. the Shopify marketing reporting. I know some of this could be from differences in the attribution window, but why would the external platforms show orders/sales 4X what Shopify reports? I also do not see the incremental store sales based on what google and facebook report. We have cut our ad spend until we can sort this out. Thanks
