-set up fb account so I can advertise on Facebook and Instagram

-make ads that definitely don't break any rules

-get the following message "Ad account status warning

There was some unusual activity on your ad account, so we're protecting it by stopping your ads. We'll start your ads again using your current balance once you've verified your account with us."

-verify account using the link provided

-get this automated response after i verify:
"Our records indicate that your payments account was disabled because it breaches Facebook's Terms of Service. To protect our users, we can't confidently re-enable your payments account at this time. Please note that we take many factors into account when disabling payments, including spend history, ad characteristics and contradictory account information.
You can find out more about our Terms of Service here: www.facebook.com/terms
Thanks for your understanding"

Your account could have been disabled for a number of reasons. Facebook may suspend or terminate your account for any reason. Connecting with Facebook directly via their live chat option here. is your best choice for getting more information and reaching a resolution.

To access the conversation, make sure you're connected to your Facebook Business Manager account. Between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. EST, Facebook Live Chat is available. To begin, select "Find answers or contact help" from the drop-down menu. You must first complete the steps for your specific question before selecting "talk with a representative." If their queues become too long, they may turn off the feature. You may also contact them by filling out his form and emailing them a report.

Many things are changing every day in the world of social media, but one thing’s for sure. Turning a Facebook page into a community requires a lot of work and persistence. Read the blog to know everything about Facebook for business.

I did finally resolve my issues and lifted up the ban but the solution was not straightforward at all.

Unfortunately you will have to find someone that has a larger account to help you. They can arrange a meeting with their Meta Technical Pro (not Meta Marketing Pro).

The problem is they are inclined to "file a case on your behalf" which won't work because it still goes through the automatic rejection crap going on.

So the idea is to tell them exactly what happens and that the algorithm gets you automatically rejected.

So these are the steps:

✔️ Meet with Meta Technical Pro (not Marketing Pro).

✔️ Come prepared. Show them all the steps you have done and the automated answers.

✔️ When they tell you "I will appeal on your behalf" or "I will file a support ticket on your behalf" refer to the automated responses and tell them "no, I want to escalate to a human support"

✔️ Ask them to raise it internally through the larger account to a human to avoid automated Meta algorithm. They will have someone contact you.

✔️ Ask them to personally check if the restriction was lifted few hours later after you answer the support ticket and confirm by email.

✔️ If you are lucky, you will get an email similar to this "Thanks for reaching out to us. This account appears active to me. Can you please explain in detail the problem you're experiencing?"

✔️ Answer the email in which you mention
--- Business Account ID
--- Ad Account ID
--- The documents you submitted
--- The Payment method (for example MC ending with 1234)
--- What went wrong.

What worked for me is the technical pro team on my end was quite knowledgeable and also resourceful so while talking to him he had to overcome couple of system obstacles. I could hear that on the phone.

Unfortunately if you don't know a bigger business, I have no idea what my recourse would be.
I am not sure if this will solve your issues but I am hoping this might help others. The other option unfortunately is to take them to small claims court and then a human may review your case but that sounds drastic.

Thank you for your help - but i don't know any big business that would help me.

Anyone else reading this, don't waste your money on shopify - complete waste of time and money.

But Shopify has zero relation to that Facebook issue though. I don't see any other platforms that offer that level of integration better than Shopify to be fair. This is strictly Meta/FB issue and it has to do with their inability to dedicate resources to solve these issues and they rely more on machine learning.
