The issue is sales and traffic. I opened this store in October and the only sales I can get are friends and family. Totally aware that it takes time to build brand recognition, just wondering is there any short term solutions. orugastore.com

Hello @orugastore ,I have check out your store and it’s really nice(though you need a little changes for it to be market & sale ready) so i will recommend that you create a Facebook business page first and create content (maybe about your brand that’s interesting or educational) and promote it in order to gather your potential audience and then nurture them to sales with email marketing.

I hope this helps

Regards

I've taken a look at your store. Nice collection! I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.

1. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
2. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
3. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
4. Create a Facebook account for your store. Having a Facebook Store is a great way to grow your business, allowing you to tap into new audiences and gain more customers.
5. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
6. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
7. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
8. Use Trust Badges
Trust badges are crucial for every eCommerce store. Until people trust you with their credit card information, they won't make a purchase. A few ways to establish trust with potential customers are: Install an SSL certificate in your store, display small images of credit cards and other payment options, add social buttons that take your customers to your social media accounts, display your contact info (phone number, email address, and office address) prominently.
9. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
10. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.

Hi @orugastore

Congratulations on getting launched! You've done a good job so far, so I have recommendations to help you get to the next level ... and clinch those all-important sales.

First of all, how are you reaching out to your customers? And who exactly is your ideal customer? You see, unless you have a content strategy to make people aware of your brand, you will not see visitors to your site. So are you going to create content? Create a blog or a YouTube channel? Or a TikTok channel?

You could share interviews with brilliant members of the community on your Instagram and encourage them to shop directly from your Instagram post. Or product guides on Pinterest. Or video interviews/collabs on TikTok.

Once they've reached your site, you need to make sure that it is optimized to be as trustworthy-looking as possible. This means ensuring that you have as many trust indicators as possible and putting as much energy into encouraging visitors to see the world the way you do.

As you are a new brand, this may mean going that extra mile to create an About Us page that really paints a picture of what you stand for, what you aspire to, and how visitors can buy into the vision.
