SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi!
Launched my new store 3 days ago, with a TikTok ad campaign.
Upon launch I got my first multi-product purchase within an hour, and the following 12hours I had a decent conversion rate at 3%, 9% checkouts and around 16% ATC. Had a highly profitable CPA, even though CTR was on the low side.
However, after the first 13-14 hours it almost seems TikTok ditched me. As I haven't had any good traffic on my store. Only one single atc for the last 2,5 days.
Is it because i'm not prioritized by the algorithms because of half-bad CTR?
Atm it seems I'm just throwing money out the window. Should I let the ads run or should I do some drastic changes? I mean, judging from the first hours, both the campaign and website should be viable?
What do you think?
Thanks for any feedback 🙂
Congrats on the successful launch! It's a bummer that TikTok traffic dropped, but like you said, the campaign & the website are viable.
Not sure what's your budget & some more details regarding the campaign and niche. Keep experimenting, at the same time, I would also look for engagement time duration & engaged session % to make sure if it's really the traffic problem or if the initial success was just a bubble.
Good luck!

One possibility is ad fatigue, where the same audience has been repeatedly exposed to your ads, leading to a decline in interest and engagement. To combat this, consider refreshing your ad creative or targeting different audience segments to keep the content fresh and engaging.
Another factor to consider is algorithm changes on TikTok's platform. TikTok's algorithms are constantly evolving, and a shift in their priorities may have impacted your campaign's performance. Stay updated on any changes or updates from TikTok and adjust your strategy accordingly.
Reviewing your targeting settings is crucial. Ensure that you are reaching the right audience for your products. Refine your targeting options, such as location, demographics, interests, or behaviors, to improve the relevance of your ads and reach potential customers who are more likely to engage and convert.
Evaluate the effectiveness of your landing page as well. Ensure that it loads quickly, is mobile-friendly, and provides a clear call-to-action. Optimize your product descriptions, images, and overall design to enhance conversion rates and create a seamless user experience.
Continuously monitor and optimize your ad campaign by analyzing metrics such as click-through rates (CTR) and engagement. If your CTR is consistently low, consider making changes to your ad creative, headline, or description to make them more compelling and attention-grabbing.
Review your campaign budget and bidding strategy. It's possible that your campaign's performance is being affected by a low budget or bidding too low. Experiment with adjusting your budget and bids to see if it positively impacts your campaign's performance.
Consider any seasonal or market factors that could influence the demand for your products. It's possible that there has been a decline in interest or competition has increased, affecting your campaign's performance.
Closely monitor the performance of your ad campaign and make data-driven decisions. If you have exhausted all optimization options and your campaign still isn't delivering satisfactory results, it might be worth exploring other advertising channels or seeking guidance from a digital marketing professional who specializes in TikTok advertising.

Those first hours were like a dream—impressive stats! But man, the sudden drop is a head-scratcher. Algorithms can be tricky, right? Considering your killer start, maybe give it a bit more time.
