Why is there no add to cart option on my ecommerce site?

Hi to everyone,

i don’t know why my ecommerce has no add to cart or check-out. I think the website is quite attractive and interesting. There are also a few daily visits. I’m even using some sale strategies like Facebook or Google promotions.  My website is finger-dot.myshopify.com.

Hi @Madd02 ,

This is Victor from PageFly - Landing Page Builder.

I have to say that I am amazed by how beautiful and professional your store looks and bet you must have put a lot of effort into it. I just have a few comments to give and hope it would make your store even better.

I like how you have:

  • Have clear Shipping and Refund information
  • Wonderful images and design

However, to attract more customers and gain more sales, I have some recommendations and hope this can help:

1. Add a favicon to your store

Having a favicon for your store will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. You can check in the Shopify Help center to know how to add it.

2. Homepage

2.1 Add an eye-catching hero banner or slideshow banner

The first impression is very important but the current homepage doesn't have a hero banner to attract customers. You can use an image with a human model using your product (like wearing your store’s accessories) or a short background video.

2.2 Add the testimonial - customer reviews section

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
  • Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product review to the page in easy ways

2.3 Add benefit bar

  • The idea is to start off by showing a full-width bar that is visible above the fold.
  • Benefits The bar container is then populated with 2-4 benefits or reassurances. These are answers to commonly asked customer questions or pain points. These may refer to concerns about shipping, delivery, ratings or any active bonuses.

2.4 Make the Search field more obvious

The search field must be immediately obvious to the user on the homepage, which typically requires increasing its visual dominance on the homepage and then subduing it slightly on other pages

PageFlyVictor_3-1672972437275.png

2.5 Show a highlighted product or the best seller product

Showing a highlighted product or best seller product will help to boost sales for this product.

2.6 Show social media (optional)

The homepage now is showing the Instagram icon. Instead of using the icon only, you can show the media from your Instagram to boost sales.
You can try the Instafeed by SocialWidget or Instafeed | Instagram Feed app.

2.7 Add section about your brand story

A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.

3. Product page

3.1 Provide a list of recently viewed

You should provide a history-based recently viewed items list for all users (including those who aren’t signed in), and consider allowing users to edit it.

3.2 Provide a list of Related products

With the Related Products section, customers can see more products that are the similar or best match with the product they are interested in. This can help to gain more interest and push the sales for the whole collection or some similar products.

PageFlyVictor_4-1672972437183.png

4. Use eye-catching and more call-to-action sentences and buttons in a promoted page

If you are running Google ads, you can create a landing page with an eye-catching banner, call-to-action sentences and buttons throughout the page. By this way, customers can be directed to the sales and products that are highlighted and are in the promotion campaign.

I hope my recommendations will be beneficial for you. Have a nice day!

Hello @Madd02,

Gina here from flareAI - your Fully Automated Free Sales Machine. Hope you are doing good! I am happy to share some suggestions for your query.

Please consider liking and accepting the solution if it helps.

I've taken a look at your store. Very unique collection! I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.

1. Change your Shopify primary domain
You are still using the Shopify default domain finger-dot.myshopify.com as the primary domain. I suggest you to change your primary domain to a more branded name like fingerdot.com. This helps you establish your brand and build trust in your online store.

You can refer this Shopify guide to change your primary domain.
2. Add sections like 'New Arrivals', 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' to help keep customers updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
3. Add more detailed product description in product pages. The product description should provide visitors with important information about the features and benefits of the product so they are motivated to buy.

4. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
5. Testimonials are a good way to increase the trust and will influence the purchasing decision. Also, provide the customers' full name, and profile photo of them to add authenticity and credibility.
6. Add a FAQ page to provide information on frequent questions or concerns
7. Add more payment options other than PayPal which will be convenient for the customer to purchase products.
8. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.

9. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
10. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
11. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
12. Add favicon to your store which is a small square image/logo that appears next to a web address. Favicon helps to strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. See shopify help here.

When your customers search on Google, your product can be found only if Google has indexed the page. Your customers trust Google Search more than Ads. flareAI works every day for you, tapping into Google Search and 20+ of world's best & biggest free sales channels. Sit back, relax.
