  • Hello i have issue with my domain i have paid for domain but it doesn't replace with my primary domain it still shows on available page

Hello, @shayanalih.

Let's see if we can get this domain issue resolved for you! Can you clarify for me please - did you purchase this custom domain via Shopify, or through a third-party site like GoDaddy for example? When you use a third-party domain, you connect the domain to your store via editing the domain's DNS settings. You can access these settings via the domain host's website. The correct settings to apply are:

 

  • Point the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
  • If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
  • Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
  • Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.

Once you have done this, please be aware it takes up to 48 hours for these changes to apply. Is it possible that you are currently within this 48-hour window right now? If you are, you can continue to use your .myshopify.com URL until the custom domain is ready, so your store will still be accessible to customers. 

You mentioned the domain "still shows on available page" - I am unsure what you mean by this? Could you please clarify and also provide a screenshot of what exactly you are seeing on this page? Thank you.

Yeah sure i can share screenshot although i pay for it but it still on
available list, i have receipt
