SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
I'm trying to create a Meta ad, and I cannot get the Pixel for my specific ad to be connect to my shopify account. I can see that my shopify store IS connected to pixel, but the pixel ids do not match. I've tried removing, re-adding, and re-connecting. I can't see any option other than generally connecting my shopify to my meta account, I don't see any place to select the specific campaign. I have looked everywhere and don't see this specific problem addressed in any troubleshooting or help articles. Has anyone had this problem?
hello there
If you are having trouble connecting the specific Pixel for your Meta ad to your Shopify account, there are a few things you can try:
Double-check that you are using the correct Pixel ID: Make sure that you are using the correct Pixel ID for your Meta ad. You can find the Pixel ID by going to your Facebook Ads Manager and navigating to the Pixels tab. The Pixel ID should match the one you have entered in your Shopify settings.
Check that the Pixel is properly installed on your website: Make sure that the Facebook Pixel is properly installed on your Shopify store. You can check this by going to your Shopify admin, clicking on "Online Store", then "Preferences", and scrolling down to the Facebook Pixel section. Make sure that the Pixel ID is correct and that the "Facebook Pixel" option is enabled.
Verify that the Pixel is tracking the correct events: Make sure that the Pixel is set up to track the correct events on your Shopify store. You can do this by going to your Facebook Ads Manager, navigating to the Events Manager tab, and verifying that the appropriate events (such as "Add to Cart" or "Purchase") are being tracked.
Contact Meta support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact Meta support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance on how to connect your Pixel to your Meta ad campaign.
If this fixed your issue, likes and accepting as a solution are highly appreciated.

Hello @amyconrad,
This is Gina from flareAI app - get free sales from Google.
I understand your frustration. It sounds like you're having trouble connecting a specific ad campaign's Pixel ID to your Shopify store in Meta.
Here are some steps you can try:
1. Make sure you have the correct Pixel ID for the specific ad campaign you're trying to connect. You can find the Pixel ID in your Meta account, under the Ads Manager section.
2. Go to your Shopify store's settings and check that the Pixel is connected to your store. If it's not, you'll need to connect it first before proceeding.
3. If your Pixel is connected to your Shopify store, try disconnecting and reconnecting it again. This will refresh the connection between Meta and Shopify.
4. If none of the above steps work, try contacting Meta's customer support team. They should be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and find a solution.
It's worth noting that Meta's ad platform can be quite complex, and it's not uncommon to encounter issues like this. However, with a bit of patience and persistence, you should be able to get the Pixel connected to your Shopify store and start running your ad campaign successfully.

Has anyone been able to solve this? Why is it so difficult?
Shopify automatically creates a Pixel ID that has nothing to do with the Pixels I have on my Meta business manager and Shopify support is clueless about how to help.
This is crazy
I have the same issue. The pixel on my Shopify store has the name of a different store I own and still does not match the pixel one my Facebook Events Manager. If I create a new one it just makes a duplicate of the existing one. Anyone have any leads?
Hey, were you able to fix this issue. Ive spent the last couple of hours trying to and its still not showing up.!!!!!!!
Fitstly go to Campaign setting / or Meta Business Suite
Than choose in the left menu: Pixels
Than find your Shopify created pixel, choose it and than Tap on “Assign assets” like on photo.
After this – assign this pixel to Ad account from which you want to run ads.
