Add / Remove app block from thank-you page

Hi,

I'm currently working on a Shopify Extension to enhance information display on the thank-you page.

During the deployment of the extension to a TEST app, I find myself manually navigating to "Settings -> Checkout -> Customize" to "Add app block."

I'm curious if there is an Admin API available for automatically performing the "Add app block" and "Remove app block" actions on the "Thank You" page.

If not, as I'm currently testing the extension with one of my unpublished app, will the extension be automatically added to the thank-you page when integrated into a published app?
