Checkout extensibility - Basic Plan

I am creating an apps that require to inject code on the order status page with checkout UI upon checkout and from what I read in the documentation,  the Thank you & Order status extension is available to all plans except starter. as below;

But on Shopify help, it seems like checkout UI is only available on Shopify Plus. as below;

It's seems confusing and therefore I hope to clarify as follows;

- will Checkout UI (Thankyou & Order status) for Basic plan be roll out at later date (likely before August) ?

- Is scriptTag or checkout.liquid for Basic plan will be the only way to go for now (until August) or perhaps there are other better ways?

I am stuck with same problem.

it's already roll out for all plans except starter. u might need to create a dev store with checkout extensibility to test out.

All plans except the Basic plan are working with the Checkout UI extension. Could you please share your thoughts on this?

Basic plan will work with Checkout UI but only for TQ and OS page
