Country Field in billing address shows all countries

I am building custom app for checkout UI extension and I want on checkout page only enabled country should be shown in country field while it is showing all countries.

Store URL: nature-plus-shop-japan-staging.myshopify.com

And in the attached screenshot you can see and verify that I have enabled only Japan still all countries are showing.

Can anyone please help me on this? Shopify support redirect me to raise technical issues on community so I raised it but here also I am not getting any reply.

Is this an issue with your app, or the store settings? If the app is not installed on the store, and you have the same limitations on shipping settings, do you still see all the countries appearing?

I want to see only one country in the billing address country field list and want to show that particular country selected as well. How can I achieve it in checkout UI extension. And Can you please be specific regarding configurations as I can't see any specific configuration in store to show only one country. Please guide me. I am really stuck here.

I have the same problem! It's so frustrating! When people choose local pickup they have to choose country in the billing adress. I've deleted all the other market countries, made them inactive but nothing takes on billing address in checkout. It looks so unprofessional. I can't translate the theme I bought to my native language, because it will mess up the dynamic content, so I've translated everything manually. But, I have no say so-on the language in the checkout, so the countries are listed in English, and the google map is in English. The new 'possibilities' for us to edit the checkout is a joke- we're allowed to change the aesthetics of it, but not the actual functionality. I don't need to put makeup on my checkout.
