Developer Console Stops Showing Extensions During npm run dev

Yesterday i noticed that my admin ui extensions were no longer showing in the browser developer console while running `npm run dev` in my shopify app.

Anyone know what causes this?

Running 

shopify auth logout

and then logging back in again seems to have fixed the problem.
